Jos Buttler was devastating at the top. He smashed 52 off 27 balls (3 fours, 5 sixes) at a strike rate of 192.59, reaching his fifty off just 24 deliveries. The second-wicket partnership with Shubman Gill produced 60 runs in 24 balls and took GT to 79/2 in 7.3 overs.
